Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool on June 18th, 1942. He is best known as componist, vocalist and guitarist of The Beatles, alongside John Lennon. The duo became extremely successful during the sixties.
When the Beatles broke up in 1970, Paul McCartney started a solo carreer. His solo debut album, simply called "McCartney", credited Paul with playing the majority of the instruments on the album, including the drums.
Paul McCartney's 2005 album "Chaos And Creation In The Back Yard" is a return to the basics for McCartney. The album once again features the composer and multi-instrumentalist on drums, shaker, tambourine and percussion, alongside great drummers like Joey Waronker, Abe Laboriel Jr. and James Gadson.
