Wheter it being with a Herbie Hancock, a Jeff Beck, or his legendary recordings with Sting, everything this man does or has done with all his peers in music, is food for lifetimes listening and studying music. This session is his orchestration of The Beatles' 'I want you (She's So Heavy)' for the Roland days when the TD-17 series were launched. And here, totally outside his comfort zone, we have him playing the Roland TD-50, an SPD-SX and a Roland looper.

Roland's #TotallyDrums event was even more spectacular than anyone could imagine. Not only did Roland launch the three new TD-17 V-Drums, and new TD-25 and TD-50 upgrades, but in the evening, during the launch of their Los Angeles Artist Relations Center, the company also had no one less than the legendary Vinnie Colaiuta on stage. And it was not a demo; he played a full concert as if he were a long-time experienced Roland virtuoso on the instruments in the Roland drums and percussion department.
