The X-Click Extreme Cross Stick Percussion Accessory
A mouth full while sounding just as full. In its basiscs - and as Russ demos below - the X-Click is an add-on to all snare drum sizes that will boost your sound and your playing. Knowing Russ Miller already designed over 80 drum related drum products, and his Groove Wedge with Yamaha still is a great success, the X-Click is of a completely new and different level in sound and design.

His partner Bill Detamore is truly a veteran drum builder. All his Pork Pie drums are specialties distributed all over the planet. Even better: in one of our recent videos with Russ Miller in his Crazy Drum Warehouse, he actually reveals that this very same Bill Detamore used to do all the finishes on the drums of the great Jeff Porcaro.

The Hybrid Design
The design of the X-Click is hybrid. It has 24-plies of American rock maple, but the real specialty is the copper added to the curved instrument. Next to the incredible sound it produces, the Mono Mount mounting system makes it fit any snare ranging from 10" to 15". Russ explains the ease of this in the 'Assembly & Mounting' video below.

The X-Click Sounds
Is it real, or just another drum gimmick? With Russ Miller, you are always sure he doesn't play dice with the instruments and sounds he invents. With the X-Click, he proves another winning streak in his sound and product design, as you can see in the videos below. The X-Click is a serious game changer in playing, drum sound and design.

Attached to any snare, the X-Click gives a much bigger and fatter sound than when playing cross sticking on a regular hoop. It has more volume and - because of the copper in it - a more metallic sound. As a player, you will instantly feel, hear and get it back while playing.
For the real nerds: it produces much more in the high and mid range levels. Together with the boosted volume, the overall effect of the X-Click is a much clearer definition, and a very well defined backbeat sound that finally really cuts.
