Brothers Scott and Mike Ciprari have turned their hobby and passion for music into one of the most successful boutique drum companies in the world, SJC Drums. In 2000, these twenty-something visionaries founded the business out of their grandmother’s basement in Dudley, Massachusetts.

Today, SJC has created more than 1,700 one-of-a-kind customized drum kits for some of the most recognizable names in music, including Panic at the Disco, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, The Jonas Brothers, Queen Latifah, Machine Gun Kelly, Keyshia Cole, and Gym Class Heroes.

SJC Custom Drum kits are exclusively produced out of a small workshop in Dudley, Massachusetts. SJC Custom Drums are primarily made out of 100% maple shells. However, other woods are available.

Each SJC Custom Drum is unique, as they are built to your specifications. We pride ourselves on working one on one with the customer, exploring options, creating new ideas, and keeping the customer informed along each step of the process.

SJC Custom Drums can be personalized in any way. For example, your drums could feature powdercoated purple hoops, maybe stars is your thing, maybe you want a tiki-man cut into your snare as a vent. Whatever it is, we can take care of it. 6 ply toms and 8 ply bass drums are standard for our drums, but you have the option of getting any size and ply shell you like.
