With the TM-1 Trigger Module Roland makes hybrid drumming not only easy, but the price of the module also makes it accessible to everyone. That is, of course, if you also have the necessary triggers set up for your module.

The TM-1 is ideal if you want to combine any acoustic drum with electronic sounds or percussion and the TM-6 Pro is just a little too professional for you. In the videos here you learn about the TM-1 module and the free app that Roland developed to control the module and your sounds.

With the TM-6, you can layer your acoustic sounds with samples from the module. Those can be the pre-installed samples, or the ones you import into the module.

This year at the NAMM Show, Roland had many show cases featuring the new products the company launched last year on 909 day. For drummers the new TD-50KV and TD-50K V-Drums were exhibited and played by many artists in many different settings. The great thing about the Roland presentations is that you get to see all the main new products the company added to their catalogue...

For instance, Myron McKinley demoed the RD-2000 stage piano. A new and powerful piano that has many features a keys player wishes both on stage and in the studio. And you can see the AE-10 Aerophone, a digital wind instrument with advanced breath-sensor technology, in the video with Omar Hakim. All new, almost futuristic and high tech instruments with which Roland once more proves it is one of the leading companies in the industry.

Jules Tabberer-Stewart, European Drum Product Manager for Roland, gives you literally all the info there is about the RT-30 triggers Roland released at NAMM 2015. April 27, 2008 the (all) Dutch finalists of the Roland V-drum Contest competed against each other in venue 013 in Tilburg (NL) to win the biggest price of all: the best selling TD-20K of Roland. The contest, also held in Belgium and France, was one of the most successful ever, and fairly new in its kind. Three of the winners would go home with prices that every drummer dreams of. On one of the hottest days of the European Autumn, the drummers on stage were even hotter then the weather outside.
