Brian Reitzell worked with Frech band AIR. He is also known as drummer in Redd Kross, the the punk-pop cult band that was inspired as much by breakfast cereal and kiddie TV as by rock music.
Redd Kross was the brainchild of Steve and Jeff McDonald. They formed their first band, the Tourists, in 1978, which also featured schoolmates Greg Hetson on guitar and Ron Reyes on drums.
Both musicians left in 1980 for the Circle Jerks and Black Flag, respectively. After their departure the McDonald brothers enlisted a revolving line-up of underground musicians for their full-length follow-up, 1981's "Born Innocent". Following the album's release, the band was threatened with a lawsuit from the real International Red Cross. As a result, they became Redd Kross.
Drummer Brian Reitzell joined the band somewhere in the nineties.
