Every once in a while I find myself listening to a song or an album and really feel like playing along. Especially to the ones that have no drums.

Part 7: Sylvan Esso - Slack Jaw
I came across Sylvan Esso's NPR Tiny Desk session about a year ago and was really struck by the songs, her voice and all the beautiful sounds surrounding her. The way she moves, looks and seems to stare while making contact at the same time. She's flowing!

Today I was listening to their album 'What Now', which features the song 'Slack Jaw'. The sheer emptiness in the production of the song is so pretty! There's not much to play to, but I did feel some acoustic drums could sound nice with it.
