In 1971, Terry Silverlight began his drumming career at the age of fourteen when he played on his brother's White Heat recording. Since then, he's played on gold and platinum recordings for, among others, Billy Ocean, George Benson, Natalie Merchant, Freddie Jackson, Stephanie Mills, Tom Jones, Laura Nyro, Anne Murray, Mel Torme, Jennifer Holladay, Phil Woods, The Fania All-Stars, and The CTI All-Stars.



Terry Silverlight has been featured on movie scores for One Fine Day, You've Got Mail, Object Of My Affection, Titus, Frida, Slaves Of New York, What Planet Are You From, countless jingles, and television shows.



Terry Silverlight has toured worldwide with artists such as Roberta Flack and the All-Star Manhattan Jazz Orchestra. Silverlight has released two solo compact disc recordings entitled Terry "Silverlight and Wild!!" and a method book "The Featured Drummer" which is published by Music Sales/Amsco.
