This was a very enjoyable event, as part of the Royal College of Music's Day of Percussion. David Hockings invited me to give a clinic and perform with the college Big Band, led by Guy Barker.

These kids are classically trained, not normally playing 'jazz' or in a big band like this. They were absolutely just great, playing these very hard charts (in tribute to Buddy Rich) .....

The video is only from an iPhone, so the audio is not great, lots of compression, so dynamics not properly represented. Also shot in vertical position, but, I thought it still worthy enough to compile and edit it up .... done with iMovie on an iPad mini ..... Hope you enjoy!
