Since the start of the pandemic, Anika passed through a variety of phases which are musically reflected in her new EP „Opuntia“. „Boom“ is not only the first single release of the EP, but also marks the impact when news of the pandemic hit the drummer with full force. Complete chaos is left, emotions run wild. Still, Anika manages to lasso them with skillful precision and wraps them into melodic synths and engaging rhythmns.
