Before joining Rammstein, Schneider was known for playing with 'Feeling B,' a punk rock band founded in East Berlin in 1983, and, after finishing military service in the East German army, he was with 'Die Firma,' an alternative rock band also from East Berlin. After joining Rammstein with band members Richard Z. Kruspe and Paul Landers, Christoph has seen and done it all since the band's inception in 1994. The band is famous for their performances that are filled with pyrotechnics and other extravaganzas, whether in decor or performance. The band has basically been touring since the beginning, playing a massive amount of shows, counting 141 during their last Rammstein Stadium Tour.

The band has produced eight official albums, three live albums, as well as several DVDs, videos, and singles. Through all of them, the six-piece band stuck together for 30 years, which is very impressive. Yet, that official record goes to ZZ Top, who have been together for over 50 years since the first album, until Dusty Hill's death in 2021.

Christoph Schneider - Tattoo - The UK Drum Show 2025
Christoph was kind enough to let Drummerszone record his entire set at The UK Drum Show. Tattoo is the first track he played, and the tenth track on the 'Untitled' album from 2019. His kit is very similar to the one he uses during the Rammstein shows, with a few alterations, or better: omitted drums not necessary for this performance.
