An evening with...Nicko McBrain
The UK Drum Show, in association with Drum One, presents an evening with drum legend and Iron Maiden sticksman Nicko McBrain, hosted by British icon, comedian and co-owner of British Drum Company Al Murray. Tickets available now!

Doors open at 7.00pm for ticket processing and to grab a drink. Evening starts at 7.30pm till 9.30pm.

The Meinl Experience Room
Meinl is back in sticks making and you can test and try all the new the German company is offering in drumsticks, multi-rods, brushes and mallets.

Meinl also has a R&D Concept experience room, where you will get to experience Meinl's research and development products. These R&D cymbals will consist of models that are not available to the market, and are truly one of a kind, as only one of each model is ever produced. And of course you can try them all out.

The Mapex Experience Room
Mapex will be announcing new and improved products this fall. As we can see on the website, these are all about sound isolation, resonance control and shell construction. Let's hope they can already show some new at the show!

In the Mapex Experience room you can hook up with Russ Miller, Rashid Williams and Gregg Hutchinson, who will gladly take you through all the products from the Mapex range.

Experience Yamaha EAD
At this year's NAMM Show, Yamaha introduced the EAD10 (Electronic Acoustic Drums). Watch Simon Edgoose demo it below, but make sure you check it out at the show. There are free 25 min sessions that run from 11AM until 5PM on the hour.

The Sabian Experience Room
Sabian is busy promoting their Sabian Education Network (SEN), a community of drum teachers seeking to improve and build their teaching practice.

At the show they have a panel discussion each day at the show, focussing on: "Develop, manage and grow your teaching practice: a panel discussion."
SEN Director Joe Bergamini will lead an expert panel in a round-table discussion with Sabian artists Stanton Moore, Ralph Salmins, Derrick Mckenzie, Erik Stams, Pat Garvey and Paul Hose.

The panel discussions take place on Saturday, September 29, 3:30 and Sunday, September 30, 12:30.

Drumaoke
At the UK Drum Show 2018, Drumazon are returning with a line up of world-class custom Brands: Bristol Drum Co, Evetts, HHG, Noble & Cooley, Masshoff, VanKleef, Wacco & Zebra Drums, as well as a stunning array of Meinl cymbals, Evans and Promark. With a list of up to 60 classic and contemporary hits, and a live band in need of a drummer, Drumaoke is a fun and fresh way of giving the UK drum show visitors that chance.

Everyone who takes part will receive a goody-bag of drum swag, and all performances will be filmed giving contestants the option to be featured online in a bid to win the two grand prizes (Best Young Performance, and Best Overall Performance).

Trinity College London are running a number of free drumming lessons at The UK Drum Show using songs from the latest Trinity Rock & Pop Drumming syllabus and electronic drum kits supplied by Roland.
