Since iDrum shook the world of drum magazine publishing with their first free issue in April 2011, the magazine producers seem to have worked non-stop - straight to the 20th edition released this August. A big achievement in two and a half years, considering the magazine always has a minimum of at least 100 pages. This edition features video interviews with Steve Jordan, Dave Elitch, Tal Bergman, Pete Lockett and over 30 pages of product reviews. And yes, also with videos so you can watch and listen to, for instance, the Pearl VBA Limited Edition kits.
Also reviewed in this edition are the new Meinl Percussion products, Premier Vintage series, the Gavin Harrison Protean Sonor Snare Drum, Jamie Borden shows you Tama's SLP snares, Zildjian's new A cymbals and a lot of accessories like the Evans E-ring, the mini Emad, the Cymlok cymbal nut, non-slip mat from Stageworks and Hendrix Drums' Sleeved Washers.
All this followed by 20 pages of tech sessions from the finest the UK has to offer. After that you can read all about the latest that is out in music and on disc. Watch Ian Croft giving you the introduction to iDrum's 20th statement in drum magazine publishing.
