The Belgian Stage Magazine gave Eddie in 2000 an award, accompanied with the title

“Percussionist of all ages”. Eddie’s interest in sounds and rhythms started a t a very young age.

Actually it all started with the bottom side of his mother’s metal bucket.



A student exchange brought Eddie in 1975 to Holland, where he remains and works till today. His first public performance was in the local band Fooks from Schiedam. After that performances with Joe Borne and through that more work as a studio musician was obtained. Also many Dutch artists contracted him as a percussionist and he came in contact with music in all of her styles and varieties. Through all this work Eddie got involved in music productions. Eventually he started his own music productions. The most memorable is the record of Daniel Sahuleka named Sunbeam. This album got awarded with the Dutch Edison.



As a percussionist he became more famous in and out of Holland. And international artists contracted him for their European tours. Artists like Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, Sting, Wall Street Crash, Herbie Hancock and Soul Sister, to name just a few. In Holland he was the percussionist of René Froger, Rosenberg Trio, Laura Figy, Candy Dulfer,

Lee Towers and Rob de Nijs.

Eddie also performed with the Dutch dj’s Marcello and Remy for the Barclay Dance Blend, organized by TMF.



His specific voice combined with his American accent can also be heard in several radio and tv commercials.

Tyer Service Centre is the most known. He also did the voice over of …………………. and brought this character

to life in the Dutch version of the Muppet Movie.



Musical wise Eddie had a few hit singles. Unfortunately not in the Netherlands. The theme from the movie Shaft brought him to number 11 in the English hit charts.

The song…………….. with the group Filland & Co. brought him a number 1 hit in Denmark.

After that there were a few minor hits such as Soul cha, cha and You are unique.

In 2000 his debut cd Take me as I am, was released.

The cd Human Element from The Eddie C. Super Band was released in 2003.



Besides his Eddie C. Super Band there is also the Eddie C. Event Band.

Furthermore you can see and listen to him in some duo’s Primerose Path is a combination of a harp and small percussion. Another combination is Soulful, which is formed with guitar player Frank Peeters.

Music and art are a natural combination for Eddie, that is why he is the producer of “The Living Art”.



Eddie is not only a percussionist, singer, songwriter and producer but also a music teacher in various music workshops. These workshops can also be used for a teambuilding event and they are tailor made to your needs.



Eddie C. is gentlemen entertainer with many faces and many skills.
