Dan Richardson (born as Daniel Joseph Richardson) played drums in The Crumbsuckers. After their split up in 1989, he started Pro-Pain with Gary Meskil in 1991. Between those two bands, Richardson also played with Meskil in Heavy Rain.
Despite the band's success Dan Richardson left Pro-Pain in 1997. He was replaced by Dave Chavarri, who also played in M.O.D., Gothic Slam, Ill Niño, Laaz Rockit and Merauder. Richardson continued in Life of Agony until the band broke up. Life of Agony reunited in 2003 with initial drummer Sal Abruscato on the drumthrone.
