Andy Bauer is drummer for Dominican-American singer, producer and writer Twin Shadow (real name: George Lewis Jr.) among others.



Biography:

Andy Bauer has performed in more than 70 cities across the United States and in more than 65 cities in 22 countries. He frequently plays at major US and international music festivals including Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Coachella, Governor's Ball, Lollapalooza, Moog Fest, Pitchfork, SXSW, FYF, Sasquatch, Laneway, NXNE, Pop Montreal, Osheaga, Ypsigrock, Primavera Sound, Electric Picnic, Glastonbury and London Calling.



In 2011, Andy Bauer made his US television debut with Twin Shadow (Warner Bros., 4AD) on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and has appeared on Late Night with David Letterman, Conan, VH1 and Album de la Semaine (Canal+ Paris). Andy Bauer can also be seen in promotional videos for Pepe Jeans' Singular Festival in Lisbon and in special performances sponsored by Absolut, Billboard Tastemakers, Red Bull Music Academy, MTV's HIVE, MiniCooper, Bacardi, and Moog.



Andy Bauer has toured extensively with the critically acclaimed groups Twin Shadow, Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed and the True Loves and with That Handsome Devil. He has also spent time on the road with Oh Land, Sveta Bout, Claude Diallo and has performed both with DJs and as a solo performer. Andy Bauer has shared the stage with Kanye West, Feist, Florence and the Machine, The Strokes, The Dap Kings, Chuck D, The Black Crows, Joe Lovano, Duffy, Robert Randolph, Jamie Lidell, Haim, Sam Smith, TVOTR, RJD2 and M83.

Andy Bauer also produces recording artists both independently and with his long-time production partner Martin Rodriguez. In 2006, Andy and Martin co-founded Turnt-Out Media, a group of creatives dedicated to interjecting eccentric sounds into the ears of the mainstream by producing innovative projects for television, branding agencies, film and theatre productions as well as gaming developers.
