Hey everyone!

So.... as you know we finished tracking drums in Los Angeles at Swinghouse Studios for the long awaited Ziltoid 2 and a new DTP album. It's going to be a double album :) The session went great in the end, even tho it was the most intense and somewhat stressful session I've ever done. I tracked two full records in two days! We had 3 days booked but the first full day was taken up with studio gremlin problems, which left us basically with two days to get 'er done! It got done :) When you believe and just do it, you get stuff done!

This video is a very quick tease of drum cam footage, random outtakes of select parts of some songs from the two albums. We messed around with different drum sounds for each record and changed the snare tones quite a bit for different songs on each album. The drum sounds we got to tape are absolutely awesome, thanks to my brother and amazing engineer - Jay Van Poederooyen! He dialled up some awesome studio drum sounds.

This drumcam gives you a very 'slight' glimpse of what to expect of the drumming on the album.... there is a lot more groove and a lot more craziness from what you see in this video. Hope you're as excited as I am to hear these two albums complete!
