Every once in a while I find myself listening to a song or an album and really feel like playing along. Especially to the ones that have no drums.

Part 5: Son Lux - Dream State (Brighter Night)
A couple of months I was introduced to to Son Lux. I was stunned. I had never heard anything like it before. Since then I've been listening to their latest album 'Brighter Wounds' a couple of times a week. I'm completely intrigued by the sounds on the album and by drummer Ian Chang's playing.

When I looked through their discography on Spotify I found an alternate version of the song 'Dream State', the opening track of the album. It had no drums on it and I immediately felt triggered to try something out. I tried a couple of times, but couldn't find something that was right, other than the original drums by Ian.

Tonight I tried something else: double my own drum part. It's kind of an experiment, but I'm happy the way it turned out.
