2017:
Alex Acuña & Weedie Braimah Percussion Jam - NAMM 2017
At the Gon Bops booth, right across the Sabian booth at the NAMM Show, every day and every hour artists check out the gear and spontaneously start jamming on the instruments available. They just start playing and anyone can join!
Alex Acuña (Al Jarreau, Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul, Manhattan Transfer, Robben Ford, Robbie Williams, Weather Report) - a Gon Bops endorser for many years now - and Weedie Braimah (Remo) sit in for a great jam, together with a big crowd. Alex Acuña is taking pictures with fans while playing, and Weedie taking his soloing moments and having great fun.
Gino Gamboa, Weedie Braimah and Chalo Eduardo are accompanied on guitar and by a Flamenco dancer to show the Remo Dorado cajon in action.
The Remo Dorado cajon is easily changeable from a Peruvian cajon without snares to a Flamenco cajon with snares. With the patented Quick Wedge-system Remo invented you can remove the snares - the coil springs- within seconds and change the sound of the Dorado significantly. This design makes it possible for the cajon to have a fixed front plate (without screws) to ensure the best bass sound possible.
The Remo Dorado cajon is available with an Amber finish and with a Natural finish.
