Drummerszone found Thomas at the MyGroove exhibition stand at the first Europe Drum Show in Friedrichshaven in Germany, stepped inside his booth and with that, entered an entire new realm of music education. In less than five minutes, Thomas takes you through the app, all its main features, and how you play along with professional musicians from the very first moment.
What is the MyGroove App?
One of the best features Thomas talks about is that, straight from the beginning, you get educated on your level. The app has tailor made lessons series for all levels. Another cool fact is that the app is so sensitive, it can actually distinguish each part of the drumkit (including cymbals) and show your playing being monitored on screen.
MyGroove is an app where you can play in a band with artists on your instrument and improve your skills. Through various songs, you'll train level by level, receive feedback, and earn points to compete with others. First, the app was only available in German, now there is the English version, and the company is working on adding more languages in the future.
