To great surprise and delight of the crowd, Bar Refaeli, the Israeli supermodel who once dated Leonardo DiCaprio, played drums at the second night of the 63rd Sanremo Song Festival.

The 27-year-old was a special guest at the music festival annex song contest, held annually in Sanremo, Italy.

The Sports Illustrated model surprised the audience at the Ariston Theatre yesterday (February 13th) as she took to the stage and showed off her skills on the drums.

With a beaming smile on her face, it looked like the model was really enjoying herself.

After performing, Bar went back to her regular job as a model, showing a range of dresses.

Fans who have been following Bar Refaeli over the years, already knew the model's fondness of drumming. in June 2011, she bought a black Mapex drum set and tweeted a picture of it saying:

"It's a DRUM SET :):):) (poor neighbors of mine..)"

And last October she tweeted how she loves to start off the day with a drum lesson.
