Crafted for versatility, the Sabian 21" HH Hammertone Ride was designed with artist Jeff Hamilton to be used in larger ensembles. It is the less delicate option in the HH Hammertone collection, offering increased volume and crashability. The tapered edge balances warm spread and controlled stick sound, delivering enhanced articulation with a heavier stick.
The Sabian 15" HH Hammertone Hats, when played open, deliver a musical sizzle and a warm, low-pitched wash thanks to a thin top and medium bottom pairing. Designed in close collaboration with Sabian artist Jeff Hamilton, these hats offer the expanded dynamic range he seeks for larger ensembles while preserving a true jazz feel—making them equally suited for smaller groups.

In December 2019 we launched a Jeff Hamilton-week on Drummerszone. With six videos from the Drummerszone-Vault with the legendary Jazz drummer's Remo Sandlane Sessions. While these took place in 2013, the moments are as unique as Jeff Hamilton himself. And that is why we published them here again. The videos were published in a six-day sequence including the recordings of three songs and three of Jeff Hamilton's lessons and great anecdotes during the evening with his Trio. All songs were recorded at the Sandlane Recording Facilities in The Netherlands live before a select audience.
