Ryan Van Poederooyen is an ambitious, creative and dedicated drummer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He mainly owes his fame to being the drummer for Devin Townsend since 2002, in the Devin Townsend Project (Current) and the now defunct Devin Townsend Band (2002-2006).

Ryan also plays drums for a metal band he formed in 2007 called Terror Syndrome. He also joined a side-project in 2007 called Ten Ways, which is a progressive rock band formed by former ex-Devin Townsend Band members Dave and Mike Young.

Currently, Ryan keeps himself busy yearly with touring, rehearsing, writing and recording albums with the Devin Townsend Project. They're a very active touring act world-wide.
