Instead of investing global marketing resources into multiple international trade shows which do not reach all customer segments, the Sonor company has decided to diversify its marketing activities and investments to more closely engage musicians and enthusiasts. This change is consistent with the company’s vision of becoming a partner in everyone’s musical life.
As a result of this approach, the Sonor company will eliminate its booth spaces at the Frankfurt Music Fair in 2010 dedicated to the Sonor Drums and Sonor Orff brands. Conversely, Sonor will upgrade its participation at the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California where it will launch for the international community its concepts for the future of its brands.
In realigning its marketing investments and product launches to more closely engage consumers, music and musicians, Sonor has announced that it will accelerate the release of its new products for 2010 in time to reach the market for Autumn and Christmas, 2009. Other consistent marketing initiatives will be announced as the decisions to participate are made.
