Toca Percussion has announced new hand percussion instruments and accessories, now available at your local store. Among the new items are Colorsound tambourines, tunable tambourines, frame drums, Tocalimba thumb pianos, and Toca's jingle sidekick.

Offering sights as well as sound Toca's Colorsound Tambourines lightweight 10" exotic Acacia hardwood shells make them easy to play. They're also visually appealing with a choice of five vibrant colors: red, green, blue, white and pink.
But the new tambourines aren't just about good looks. They're carefully crafted for great sound and come fitted with a double-row of nickel-plated and brass-plated jingles. This design balances the overall jingle sound to project a combination of dry and lively tones.
A remarkable combination Toca's 10" diameter Tunable Tambourine features a durable Siam oak frame in an attractive red matte finish. The frame holds seven double rows of nickel-plated jingles that produce a bright, responsive sound. The synthetic head is tuned by means of an ultra-lightweight tuning system specifically designed to keep playing weight down for increased player comfort. A tuning wrench is included.
Simple elegance Available in 14" and 16" diameters, Toca Frame Drums feature shells constructed of durable Asian oak. The shells are covered with premium goatskin heads, pre-stretched to produce maximum response and the widest possible frequency range. Each drum comes with a soft black carrying bag.
Melodic and fun Tocalimba Thumb Pianos offer the musical charm of traditional kalimbas, combined with Toca's trademark innovative design. Two different models are available. The small Tocalimba mounts its nine steel keys atop a solid block of natural ash wood. The sound produced by the small Tocalimba is especially delicate and tranquil. The large Tocalimba is constructed of Asian oak, in a walnut matte finish. This model has a hollow body that acts as a sound chamber beneath the nine steel keys, producing deeper tones and increased resonance. In addition, special vent holes on the sides of the chamber create a unique wah-wah effect.
The fit-anywhere drum The Toca Jingle Sidekick fits anywhere and it also looks and sounds terrific. It features a gloss black acrylic shell that gives it a distinctive appearance, while its four rows of double nickel-plated jingles and tunable synthetic head combine to give it a bright, penetrating sound. Its lightweight tuning system is similar to that of a Brazilian tamborim equipped with a mounting bracket that easily attaches to a 3/8" percussion rod.
Instant versatility Toca's Quick Change Percussion Mount is an innovative and versatile all-steel add-on clamp that instantly transforms from a cymbal holder to a percussion rack. Equipped with U-clamp bracket that can be attached to any cymbal stand, the mount features an adjustable cymbal tilter that can accommodate any cymbal up to 16" in diameter-making it the perfect holder for splashes and small crash cymbals. The mount also comes with a bar clamp that holds two adjustable 3/8" percussion rods. These rods can be used to mount any combination of bells, blocks, tambourines, and other percussion items.
