The Meridian Black Raven kit is the first in a series of limited edition 'Player Designed' features specific in its configuration, and unique in its look. Once they are sold out, they will not be reproduced.

According to Mapex, the rich Birch/Maple shells crank out low and dark tones with a balanced attack. The inside of the shells feature a new Black finish that enhances resonance and projection.

The 22"x20" bass drum is said to deliver massive low end and the shallow toms speak fast. Its shells consists of 4.8mm Birch exterior plus 2.4mm Maple interior.

The kit boasts one 12"x08" rack tom, and 14"x12" and 16"x14" floor toms, so the player can bring in their ride cymbal close for optimal performance. A 14"x06" snare drum completes the set.

Toms and snare feature shells of 4.1mm Birch exterior and 7.1mm Maple interior. All toms come with Remo pinstripe tom heads.

The shells come wrapped in a semi-gloss black wood grain finish, fitted with satin black hardware, and are topped with Remo clear pinstripe drumheads.

This 5-piece kit is all a player needs to be heard loud and clear, but a 10"x07" add-on tom is available for even more rock n' roll noise.
