David "Dciph" Henzie-Skogen, band leader, drummer and MC of Youngblood Brass Band, says they frequently explore the extremes of the dynamic spectrum.

He explains how he and both other Youngblood drummers, Tom "Bomb" Reschke and Conor Elmes, do a large amount of improvising at very intense energy levels:
