The KoSA International Percussion Workshops and Festival will again take place within the picturesque campus of Johnson State College (JSC), nestled in the Mountains of northern Vermont. Convenient to air, rail and interstate, KoSA 12 at JSC is an ideal location for the KoSA Experience.

The KoSA Workshop is a hands-on intensive percussion camp that is unique in the entire world. The course of study includes an incredibly diverse range of styles and techniques. Drumset (from rock, jazz, Latin, funk) and classical percussion; to Brazilian, Arabic and Indian hand drumming. Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Japanese Taiko drumming, rhythm voice class, classical marimba, jazz vibraphone, timpani, snare drum, percussion ensemble, Steel drum ensemble, and special percussion course for band director sessions are offered, as well as classes in video conference and music technology. All courses have classes for all levels of experience.
KoSA 12 Artist Faculty For 2007, The KoSA International Percussion Workshop will feature Memo Acevedo, Carmine Appice, Billy Cobham, Joe Bergamini, Jim Chapin, John Riley, Rajna Swminathan, Mario de Ciutiis, Arnie Lang, Michael Spiro, Dom Famularo, Jim Royal, Rich Holly, Glen Velez, Mike Manieri, She-Wu, Mike Clark, Kalani, Marco Lienhard, Aldo Mazza, Allan Molnar, Dafnis Prieto, Lou Robinson, Jeff Salisbury, Rick Van Horn, Michael Wimberly & African Drum & Dance Ensemble, and the KoSA rhythm section: Piano, Bass, Guitar and more.
Tuition: $995 US double occupancy -or- $1095 US single occupancy
