Sonor's Prolite series are among the Maple standards in the drum market. The drums are reliable, sound like you can expect from Sonor, and for 2019 the German drum company has three new finishes and new configurations. We added Steve Smith's Journey SQ2 kit and Jojo Mayer's Sonor Perfect Balance Standard model bass drum pedal as well.
The Sonor 'Lite' series Sonor has a history of producing Lite(r) series drums. In 1983 the SonorLite came on the market, followed by the HiLite in 1988. The Delite followed in 2000 and in 2011 the company started with the ProLite series that came out a year later.
The ProLite has vintage maple shells with, of course, Sonor's impeccable hardware that is close to their falfship drums, the SQ². In and below the video you find all the new finishes and configurations that Sonor launched in 2019.

Jojo Mayer's Sonor Perfect Balance Standard model bass drum pedal Sonor now has a new and more simplified version of Jojo Mayers Perfect Balance bass drum pedal. The new Perfect Balance Standard Pedal still features Jojo's idea of the already existing calibrated system that optimizes the linear translations of your foot movements, but all the extras are left out.
