The Duo Snare
The biggest feature is of course the Duo Snare - the 10" x 14" snare drum with floor tom legs and brackets. Sput and Anika place it where normally the first floor tom is, giving it a surprising effect in songs. All in combination with the sizes Tama offers. Hence, there is no need to build constructions like this yourself; basically you can order with Tama whatever you want.

Hyperdrive Duo options
Tama is flexible company when ordering drums. But while the kit is in the Superstar series, which has a lot of finishes available, for now, the drum company limits the Hyperdrive Duo colors to the three lacquer finishes below the video. Ordering the complete kit will set you back around 2,300 US dollars.

Shell Kits and Hardware
The drums are all Maple shells. With the bass drums of 8 plies (7mm) and the floor and toms in 6 ply, which makes the drums around 5mm thick.
