On Sunday September 12, 2010, the 7th edition of the drum festival of Dutch mega store Drumworld will take place on the factory ground of the Adams company. Seven editions means seven artists as well. This year several major names will perform on the festival. And before Mike Terrana, who is closing the festival this year, Dutch percussion group Slagerij van Kampen will perform as well. The drum store has the afterparty on September 30, when Simon Phillips will perform \'Drumaffairs\' with Amsterdam Percussion Group members Mike Sch�perclaus and Josep Vicent.

Mel Gaynor & Eddie Duffy
Mel Gaynor is -of course- the drummer of super group Simple Minds. Besides his membership with Simple Minds, he has worked with Elton John, Lou Reed, Tina Turner, Meatloaf, Peter Gabriel, The Pretenders, Gary Moore, Jackson Browne, Brian May en Robert Palmer. Mel is accompanied by Eddie Duffy, bass player of Simple Minds.

Vadrum
\"Vadrum\" Andrea Vaddrucci\'s alias. Andrea has a huge YouTube hit with his video playing over the computer game Mario Bros. His video channel on YouTube has over 35 million viewers.

Todd Sucherman
Todd is drummer in the band Styx. He has played with amongst others Michael Bolton, Billy Ocean, R. Kelly, Survivor and David Hasselhoff. In 2009 Todd Suchermann was voted #1 Rock Drummer, #1 Educational DVD with \'Methods and Mechanics\' en #1 Clinician by the readers of Modern Drummer.

Marco Iannetta
According to Terry Bozzio, Marco Iannetta is mindblowing, spectacular, unique and one of the real drum innovators. Marco plays \'simply\' 10 pedals in incredible paces.

Thomas \"The Druminator\" Lang
There really should be no need to introduce Thomas Lang. The \"Druminator\" has been the drummer\'s drummer in the world for the last decade. As soon as he hit his first note, the audience is served a 50 minute exercise of extreme chops, polyrhythmic grooves and power strokes. Whether he starts off on his cymbals, his snare or with another ostinato on his kick drums, Thomas always seems to just pick a rhythmical pattern as a layer for soloing in endless variations.

Slagerij van Kampen
Dutch percussion group Slagerij van Kampen is active for almost 25 years now. A fenomenon in drums, playing more then 100 concerts a year.

Mike Terrana
American drummer Mike Terrana has worked with amongst others Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony Macalpine, Steve Lukather and Jennifer Batten (guitarist with Michael Jackson and Jeff Beck).
