The 9th Annual Cape Breton International Drum Festival line-up has been finalized. This year\'s festival edition will feature a great list of performers and special guests, including three of the biggest names in the world of drumming: Virgil Donati, Johnny Rabb and Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez. This year\'s Legends Awards will be granted to Bill Ludwig III and Buddy Rich. In Mr. Rich\'s honour, daughter Cathy Rich will accept the award on his behalf, while grandson Nick Rich will keep the family legacy alive through a special performance.
Where and when
The two-day celebration of music will be staged at the Savoy Theatre, Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia in Canada on Saturday May 23rd and Sunday May 24th, 2009.
