Mick Gravéé from the Netherlands has won the finals of the Cenral Europe Roland V-Drums Contest for adult drummers at music centre Trix in Antwerp, Belgium. Last weekend he beat ten other finalists, earning the title of Central Europe V-Drums Champion 2011.

The win also means Mick will represent Europe at the first-ever V-Drums world wide finals during the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California in January 2012.
In the category under 18 years, for minor drummer, another Dutch drummer prooved to be the best: Lars Nijman won from eight other finalists and earned an SPD-30 Octapad plus a PDS-10 stand.
Both winners were selected by a professional jury featuring Toto Poznantek (James Brown, Gloria Estefan), Bruno Castelucci (Toots Thielemans, Joe Zawinul), Dirk Brand (Charlie Mariano, Deborah Watson) en Roland Central Europe.
