Ludwig Black Beauty This bueatiful snare drum comes as it should: clean, dry, and pure – allowing for complete control over processing. Use it \"as is\" or adjust to taste. It really is a sweet sounding set of snare samples - just under 50 MB of sonic goodness.
Pearl\'s Dennis Chambers Signature Edition snare drum This 14 inch model is one of the best maple snares you will find. A great drum for pop, rock, and funk tunes. Maple drums are known for their warmth and projection and this drum has it all. And, despite the warmth of maple, It has plenty of attack. The thick woody character of this drum will be a solid backbeat without getting in the way.
Yamaha 14 inch steel snare This is an incredibly versatile recording snare. A great drum for pop, rock, and funk tunes. Bright, full tone with a frequency range from mid to high. It has plenty of attack and some nice open ring to it (typical of metal snare drums). Add compression and this snare will pop through any mix.
Pearl\'s Steve Ferrone Signature Edition snare (tight pop tuning) This 6.5\"x14\" snare features a brass shell designed for projection as well as sweet resonance and tone. This snare is very versatile and this set features the snare at a high tuning, giving it the crack and bite of a piccolo yet the body and depth of a much larger, beefier snare drum. This set is geared for funk and pop drum styles, but could be used in any situation needing a tight, higher-pitch crack.
With multi-velocity strikes and varying strike positions (center of snare, rim, and points in-between), this dynamic snare sample set will allow users to create realistic snare patterns. The set includes full snare hit, flam, and cross-stick samples.
