The configuration includes a 22x18 inch bass drum, 10x8 and 12x9 suspended tom toms, 14x14 and 16x16 floor toms with legs and a 14x5.5 inch snare drum.
The set also comes with a full set of Mapex 320 Series hardware, including a snare stand, hi-hat stand, straight cymbal stand, boom stand, tom holder and bass drum pedal.
Mapex reintroduced the VX series in 2007 with popular lacquer finishes and many appointments, such as ITS mounts, not typically found on drum sets in this price range.
VX Series shells are made using 8-ply premium basswood with a thickness of 7.2 mm.
