The Rec'n'Share app lets you record your drums - even when making a drum cover, capture it on video and share it directly to your social media channels. "Stupidly easy," as Simon Edgoose describes it in the video above. The app is only available on iOS. Hopefully Yamaha will make an app for Android soon.

With or without Yamaha
You can use the Rec'n'Share app with all Yamaha products, or without them! Yours truly just downloaded it and when using it stand-alone without Yamaha products, you can still use it to practice and record yourself. The recording then, of course, will not have the Yamaha sounds that you have when you connect your device to one of their products. The features of the app are extremely easy to use and their functions are instantly clear.
