Rancid drummer Branden Steineckert, who is a huge soccer fan and die hard supporter of the Real Salt Lake (RSL) team, is stoked about his new snare drum created by SJC Custom Drums.
Made for Rancid's upcoming North American summer tour, the snare drum is celebrating 100 years of US soccer, commonly known as football in the rest of the world.
It's patterned with both the current shield and centennial shield around the drum and features some of Branden's favorite players as the background, including Brad Guzan, goalkeeper for the USA national team.
This isn't the first time Branden has gotten involved with the football team he supports. The drummer penned what has become RSL's unofficial official in-stadium anthem.
