The new limited edition snare was first presented as a prototype at the Winter NAMM Show in january, but is now finally available in stores.

In 2007 Tama made a previous one-of-a-kind drum kit for John, who is an avid fan of graphic novels and creator of Torpedo Comics: each drum was hand-painted by a different prominent comic book artist.
