About Peter Erskine Peter Erskine is a world-renowned, highly skilled session drummer in a wide and varied number of musical genres and settings, including big band, jazz-rock and fusion groups, theatre, dance, film and television.
He was a member of the jazz-fusion band Weather Report and has worked with artists and bands such as Steely Dan, Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell.
Readers of Modern Drummer magazine voted Peter Jazz Drummer of the Year ten times.
