A chronic back issue forced Phil Collins from the stage for several years, though he attempted to move back into the spotlight after undergoing major back surgery in 2015.

He even rehearsed again with a live band featuring Jason Bonham, son of legendary Led Zeppelin sticksman John, on drums.

Phil also personally oversaw a series of deluxe solo album remasters that just wrapped up this month with '...But Seriously' and 'Going Back'.

Phil Collins explains:
