Wouter Rentema plays drums in Dutch rock group Gem. He officialy joined the band in February 2007, replacing previous sticksman Ilco Slikker.



Wouter Rentema is also known as drummer with Inna-Truth, Hot Sushi, Chili Con Fusion, The Swinging Mood Orchestra, and a project with Yoshi Breen (RubyQ) for his study at the Rock Academy in Tilburg.



Initially hailing from Groningen, Rentema played in several local bands, including an outfit featuring LPG members, and cover band One Night Stand (though for aa very short while).
