Tim Boussen was born as Tim Alphons Florent Boussen on May 1, 1975. Currently he plays drums in Badly Preserved.
History in Boussen's own words:
I started making music on an organ really. Played the damn thing for about 9years. That`s where my band experience started first with my bro Elton in alittle formation called B.B Squad. I was also a D.J. at that time.
Next there was that band called Anabolix. We made a mix of the most
experimental music you can think of. This band lasted about 1 year and 1
gig.
After that I didn't really make any music for a couple of years, until in
1997 my brother Elton told me that his band's drummer just quit the band. He asked me to join "the Ballerina Pimps" as a drummer, and although I totally lacked any rythmic experience at all, I decided to take up the challenge and become a real metal-drummer.
After a couple of years of intensive practicing and playing gigs, we reached a certain level at which we didn't feel like we could express our total value within the musical style we were playing at that time. The band very much fell apart, but my brother Elton and I formed a new project for which we asked Saz and Safry to join us.
From that moment on "Badly Preserved" was a fact. The music we play is best described as crossover-metal, which basically means that we combine many elements of different metal styles.
Interests:
I spend a lot of time on my PC and my X Box. I really enjoy gaming. Besides that I manage the BP website. I`m also the "brain" behind Performance, a local happening that arose by my initiative to create an opportunity for local artists to present their
creativity. So together with the band and my family that takes all of my time.
Music I like:
Sevendust, Stuck Mojo, Guano Apes, Fear Factory, Nightflyer, Celtic and Irish music...
