Til Kasmann (Lübeck, 1980) started playing drums at age 15. He received lessons from Oliver Sonntag (1995 - 1997) and Rainer Brockmann (1997 - 2001). More lessons followed at the University of Oldenburg. Kasmann recalls:

"First I was born, and while I grew up I crashed all the pots of my mum. It took 15 years until I convinced my parents to get professionell help. ;-) I finished school in 2000, did my civilian service and moved to Oldenburg to study physics. But things shouldn´t have been that way. In november 2001 I got to know the guys from Regicide and the wind of change took my studies away..."

Til Kasmann still plays drums in Regicide. Previously he played with a few small relatively unknown bands, including Shit Happens ("and it happened ;-)" according to Til), Innere Dialektik (HipHop), some Big Bands (including Big Band Johanneum) and Regicide.



Til Kasmann names Deftones, Rage Against The Machine, Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Foo Fighters as musical influences. His own motto: "Play tight or start crying! Play powerfull or die trying!". About Regicide's 2004 album "Viorus" Kasmann comments:

"Check it out and decide what you hear: rock, prog rock, metal, gothic, musical, classic, folk..."

Looking forward into the future, Til is pretty confident. He wants to enhance playing tight and powerfull, to try to achive success with Regicide, get many gigs and work on a new album.
