Stuart Wilkinson has been a professional musician and songwriter for over ten years. He has worked with Emeli Sandé, The Pierces, and Lana Del Rey among other artists.
Having started playing drums aged sixteen after watching Dave Grohl in Nirvana, a few years later Stuart Wilkinson co-founded the successful but short-lived pop-punk band the DumDums. The band released 'It Goes Without Saying' and toured extensively in support of the album, appearing with the likes of Snow Patrol, Paul Weller, Robbie Williams and Bon Jovi (at Wembley Stadium).
Stuart Wilkinson has played on recordings by Mania and Girls Aloud ('Love Machine') and toured with indie-songstress Carina Round before becoming full-time drum tech and live keyboard player for Razorlight.
Years of near constant touring resulted in a close friendship with then drummer Andy Burrows, who paid for the recording of Stuarts own band, Rogue States, debut EP. Having recently self-released their second EP 'Rumours / Secrets', Rogue States are about to begin recording a follow up.
When not with Rogue States, Stuart Wilkinson plays drums with American singer Lissie who is currently touring the world and gaining major critical acclaim both sides of the Atlantic.
Stuart Wilkinson has played headline shows throughout the UK, Europe and Japan, as well as having performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury, V and T in the Park.
Stuart Wilkinson has worked with a wide variety of producers including Steve Power (Feeder) and Bill Reynolds from Band Of Horses.
