Scott Foster, a native of Belfast, began his percussion studies at the age of 10. Scott was a member of the Ulster Youth Orchestra and for four years he played in The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain where he was Principal Percussionist.
Scott Foster twice appeared in the televised percussion final of the BBC Young Musicians competition and in 1998 he won Northern Ireland Young Musician of the Year.
Following his recent graduation from London’s Royal College of Music, Scott Foster has worked with Dublin’s RTE Symphony Orchestra and made three solo appearances with the Ulster Orchestra in Belfast.
The combination of all this drumming and twelve years of regular appearances on the amateur stage in productions such as Joseph and Oliver, make his appearance in Noise Ensemble inevitable!
