Ryan Michael Dusick was born in Los Angeles in 1977.
Being drummer in Maroon 5, Ryan was featured on tv as guest at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, David Letterman and Jay Leno, among many others.
During the European leg of their world tour early 2004, Ryan Dusick got a shoulder injury and was temporarily not involved in their stage performances. As a result the band roped in a stand-in drummer, Matt Flynn (known from the B-52s and Gavin DeGraw), who did an admirable job.
After receiving the award for 'Best New Group' at the World Music 2004 Awards, Maroon 5 were sited for 3 nominations at the MTV Europe Music 2004 Awards for 'Best Group', 'Best New Act' and 'Best Song'.
