Roger Chapman began playing percussion at the age of 10. He was a member of the Forres Sandle Manor Jazz Group which won the Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Musicians of the year in 1993 and 1994. Throughout his teen years Roger played in a wide variety of ensembles leading to tours of Holland, South Africa and France.
Whilst pursuing his music degree, Roger Chapman studied percussion and voice featuring in a number of ensembles and choirs as well as singing for several local rock bands and taking part in the original Noise Ensemble workshop.
Roger Chapman has played roles in several original musicals including Courtenay and Limelight and has recently enjoyed leading roles in three independent short films.
