Rachel Fuhrer is a tuff Texan drummer who inspires just by the sweaty, go-for-broke approach behind her stripped-down kit.



Rachel Fuhrer plays drums with various bands including Austin indie rockers Ume, the mathy post-hardcore band We'll Go Machete, electro/pop/post-punk kids Many Birthdays, and eclectic/electronic brainiacs Electronic Planet Ensemble.



Rachel Fuhrer majored in music at University Of North Carolina and continued her studies with Rod Morgenstein at Berklee where, among many concepts, they worked on 'two-surface riding' where the right hand plays the ride; the left hand plays the hi-hat.
