Noah Bernardo Jr. is probably best known as Wuv, drummer in POD (Payable on Death).



The Mexican-American percussionist grew up near San Diego, where he was weaned on white rock acts like Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull and Cheap Trick. Yet despite the overwhelming Eurocentricism of heavy metal, Noah Bernardo wasn't discouraged because he was even more influenced by punk and reggae — genres whose sociopolitical agendas have always stressed inclusion.
