David Northrup's career really tookoff around 1997 when he started to land some of the more high profile sessions and live gigs both in and outside of the Nashville scene.



David Northrup's long and versatile list of playing credits includes work with Guitarist Les Dudek, Rock Legend John Waite, The James Brown Horns, and fusion guitarist Shane Theriot. Country Artists include MD image Travis Tritt (for 9 years) Joe Diffie, Doug Stone, Tanya Tucker, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Lila McCann, Jo De Messina, Jo-El Sonnier, Pam Tillis, Anthony Smith and Jam Band Sensation The Disco Biscuits just to namea few.



David Northrup is a member of the band The PacAKracRs and is also a busy studio musician and producer in the Nashville scene as well as an international clinician.



David Northrup was voted number Three Country Drummer and number Two Clinician of the year in The 2008 Modern Drummer Readers Poll.
